What you need

• 3 balls Rowan Little Big Wool
• Size 10mm / 000 Knitting Needles
• 3 Large Buttons

Method

Cast on 27sts
1st Row: K1, * P1 K1 rep from * to end.
2nd Row: P1, * K1 P1 rep from * to end.
3rd Row: as 2nd Row.
4th Row: as 1st Row.
These 4 rows form the Double Moss Stitch Pattern.
Rep these 4 rows for 23cms, ending with 2nd or 4th row.

Change pattern
1st Row: * K3 P1 rep from * to last 3sts K3.
2nd Row: K1 P1 * K3 P1 rep from * to last K1.
These 2 rows form the Ladder Stitch Pattern.
Rep these 2 rows for 46cms (69cms in all).

Change pattern
1st Row: * K3 P3 rep to last 3sts K3.
2nd Row: * P3 K3 rep to last 3sts P3.
3rd Row: as 1st Row.
4th Row: as 2nd Row:
5th Row: * P3 K3 rep to last 3sts P3.
6th Row: * K3 P3 rep to last 3sts K3.
7th Row: as 5th Row.
8th Row: as 6th Row.
These 8 row form the Basket Weave Pattern.
Rep these 8 rows for 23cms (92cms in all).
Ending with either 4th row or 8th row.
Cast Off.

Make Loops
With right side facing make a buttonhole loop,
blanket stitch the loop, 5cms from the bottom
repeat twice more evenly on the double moss st.
Sew on buttons 2.5cms from the top of basket weave,
with the following 2 buttons evenly on the diagonal
as pictured.
